Barry M just sent an email around promoting their new eyeliner pens. I love the bright colours! I recently became a fan of eyeliner pens because they are really easy to apply and easy to remove. I have been using a Clarins pen and when it dries, I can just peel it off, which I love! I will have to test these and let you know more later...

Rihanna's violet eye...

To me Rihanna is one of the cutest popstars out there currently. I found this pic of her in which she is wearing a beautiful purple eye shadow that brings it all together and makes her look so much fun!

I think this colour is similar to these:

The Blue Violet (code dd21) by BarryM -

The Violet (Intense 370) by Rimmel -

Chloe Sevigny

Our first inspiration comes from a movie star, not a popstar... but it is such a great, simple look and idea that I wanted to have it here.

According to Chloe Sevigny: "My fail-safe glamourous look is major lashes with matt red lipstick"

Here are some good matches for her glamourous look:
Barry M Lip Paint
The Pillar Box Red is one of the best colours to achieve Chloe's look.

Lauren's tutorials and Barry M

I don't think one should spend a lot on expensive makeup... I think makeup is all about creating new fun looks often, since that's what makeup is all about: It gives us the chance to create a look to match our mood, every time we want.

I like to buy often and I buy to keep up with trends, and that's why I am always looking for new brands that allow me to reproduce the cool looks I see around and music videos are a great source of inspiration. In this blog I will try to keep up with what the pop divas are coming up with in terms of makeup...

A while back i was surfing YouTube and found Lauren's great tutorials. I was so happy to find out that Lauren is now associated with one of my favorite makup brands, Barry M!
